Our SEO program for Castelblanco Law Group won Best Use of Search – B2C (SEO) at the 2026 US Search Awards. It was the only winner in the category.
Over 15 months, the program grew the firm’s organic clicks 14x and its impressions more than 17x, with leads climbing steadily along the way. The full list of 2026 winners is on the US Search Awards site.
Castelblanco is a California tenant rights firm with offices in eight cities. When we started working together in March 2025, organic search wasn’t a meaningful source of new clients. Fifteen months later, it was bringing in a steady, growing stream of client inquiries.
What the judges said
“An outstanding campaign demonstrating exceptional and sustained growth, with impressive gains in visibility, traffic and meaningful conversions. The transparent response to the algorithm update further highlights the strength and resilience of the approach.”
We’re proud of the growth numbers. The part we’re proudest of is the second sentence: how we handled the moment things got hard.
The results
From March 2025 to May 2026, the firm went from barely visible to consistently in demand:
- Monthly organic clicks grew from about 1,300 to about 19,000 at the March 2026 peak, roughly 14x
- Average search position improved from 24 to 5.7, moving the firm from page three onto page one
- Organic conversions (phone calls, form fills, and emails) rose 311% year over year
- The firm held the #1 search visibility score among tracked competitors every month of the campaign
- 448 keywords reached the top three positions in a single month after we optimized for AI search

How we got there
We focused on the searches tenants make when they urgently need help, built English and Spanish content across all eight markets, and rewrote the site’s messaging around what clients care about most: no-win, no-fee representation and Spanish-speaking support.
When a Google algorithm update hit in April 2026, we told the client what we were seeing and made fixes right away. Traffic was recovering within weeks, and on June 1 the site recorded its best day for clicks since March.
What this says about how we work
“Legal search is brutally competitive. Firms are up against national directories and lead aggregators for the same people,” said Maggie Swift, Founder of Unframed Digital. “We kept this program focused on the searches that turn into real cases. And when the algorithm update hit, we told the client exactly what was happening and adjusted with them. That honesty is why the growth held.”
Much of our work comes from years with premium design and building product brands. This campaign shows the same approach carries into a very different category: research first, focus on revenue over vanity metrics, and transparent reporting when the data moves in either direction.
This win follows our Silver for Digital Agency of the Year at the 2026 US Agency Awards. Thank you to the Castelblanco team for trusting us with their growth, and to the US Search Awards judges for the recognition.
